Tart’s Strawberry and Produce Farm is a family owned business. Charles and Kim have been married for 39 years and have four children and 8 grandchildren with one more on the way.

In 1980 Charles started produce farming with sweetcorn and sugar baby watermelons. As time went on, his heart was more passionate for the produce side of farming, thus Charles decided to grow strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupes, squash, cucumbers, pickling cukes, peas, butterbeans, tomatoes, okra, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, gourds and flowers on top of his row crops of beans, wheat, cotton and tobacco.

Charles started off selling at the farmers market in 1980 and continues to sell there today.

Charles opened up a roadside produce stand in Dunn while adding more each year.

Charles supports his local community and aims to serve that community by offering local fresh NC grown produce and products.
